We are starting this blog today to help us connect to our wonderfully creative community. We will be continually sharing posts about our artists, their work, classes and art shows that go on at The Upstairs Gallery in Arlington, TX. We are so excited to hear from you and hopefully will even see you someday when you drop by for a visit. Times have changed so much since we opened our doors 40 years ago. I'm sure Eleanor Grace Martin could never have imagined that to commemorate her precious galleries 40 years in business we would be creating a blog!!!! I feel so blessed to have had a mother and father who loved art,believed in education and wanted both to be a part of the gallery for Arlington, forty years ago. The Upstairs Gallery is special ...I appreciate my brothers,Mac and J.T.,sister-in-law Peggy and my husband John for their support.

I am excited about the auction
at the AMA this Saturday February 2nd.
Except it is a shame that with the gallery so spotlighted, all Martins will not be there. You all should be there to see how well-represented the gallery is.
arlington will miss you and I know you will miss a great night for the gallery.

I have benn around so long I was in the UPSTAIRS the first year it opened.
I am selling on line a wildlife O/C of Mallards landing on an inlet- 14"x 11" framed by Margie Whittington. I have no knowledge of market structure for this artist. Can you help in this matter.
